This is a one off special for Man City v Bristol City, we are going to list 1 to 10 for Man City total. If they win 1-0 and that's your guess you score 10 points, if they score 7-0 and that's your guess you score 4 points and double points for any Bristol City goal.. So the lower the Man City score - the higher the points.(Scores Reversed) So if you predict Man City to win 4-1 - you could score 09 points - Don't forget Bristol City goals count double. 1-0..............................10 points 2-0.............................09 points 3-0.............................08 points 4-0.............................07 points 5-0.............................06 points 6-0.............................05 points 7-0.............................04 points 8-0.............................03 points 9-0.............................02 points 10-0............................01 points 2 points for any Bristol City goal, at a risk of repeating myself a predicted score of 3-1 to Man City you would score 10 points. If Bristol City were to win 3-1, your points tally would be added up the same, so you would gain 16 points, 6 for the Bristol City goals and 1o for the Man City Goal = 16 points.(Scores Reversed) If this game proves popular I will run it for the return game and the winners will be calculated from both games predictions, I'll make up a league table. So if you feel lucky, please join in, all fans/ all clubs welcome.
Is anyone (or everyone) a little nervous as to how many Manchester City could put past us tomorrow if they're in the mood....... ? If we lose by a cricket score in Manchester then it makes the 2nd Leg a formality which would be a shame.
Very Nervous!! More nervous that it could shatter the confidence of the players for the league...It's got to the serious side of the completion which could mean they will put out a very strong side..
First 20mins will be crucial, if they score one or two in that time I think my 5-0 will go out the window.
Well had you said 20 that would have been it is a very difficult result to predict, so many if's and buts home to Norwich always difficult and not really shone so far but still have asperations of top 6 do we go all out? ! Man city who do they play?[ top players] have Liverpool on the weekend but so far clear might not worry to much about putting out a strong team[ v us] as all fixtures for a month after is quite weak have to say we lose 4-1
To date.... wiz ........4-1.. ADicks...5-0.. 1for........4-1.. Supcon...3-1.. Shiny......1-2.. BJA........3-3.. R/R........2-2.. angelic...3-0.. Tom........2-1.. jgf2.........4-1.. NickH.....5-0.. smh........6-0.. You are welcome to change your prediction anytime up to K/O, just let me know..
It'll be very interesting to see how we approach the game. In many ways it makes sense to park the bus, but it does invite a lot of pressure - play more open though and they'll likely to slice right through us. I think we shouldn't deviate too much from what you might call our regular approach, but being very picky/co-ordinated with when we press - it's also probably worth aiming for free-kicks/corners to try and nick a goal. Unfortunately, I think the number of fixtures and injuries have taken too much of a toll. Losing to Wolves was sickening, and Aston Villa a bad day at the office, whilst Watford was a bit of a write off. Even with a bit of rest, I still think the 11 that start won't be 100%, which they'd probably need to be to avoid a thrashing, let alone avoid defeat. 5-0 for me . In my mind, Man City are probably amongst the top five sides in the World right now, possibly even top three. I'd love to think we can bring them back to Ashton Gate with only a goal in it maximum, so there's a faintly realistic possibility of another upset, but if we do get royally tonked then we should take a view of 'always look on the bright side of life', and get back to what is still an excellent league campaign so far, with many games yet to come. Come the end of January/start of February, with players back from injury and new signings in place, hopefully we can go on more good runs of form and end up in the playoffs at least...
I think on the match of the day one of the commentators said the way seems to be to hassle them and they lose composure... Burnley had them at bay till the "crafty free kick" instead of putting it under their belt they dwelt on it and goal 2 quickly followed .... they then collapsed we may play a weakened side.. in the return a full strength if they are level or just a goal in front ... they have Liverpool coming up!
