footballing season going?

Obviously I appreciate this is a difficult time of year for some supporters, especially straight after Christmas and the New Year.

Being Winter it can seem and feel dark and depressing after the long cold, dark, days and nights right across the land, from Sunderland to Leeds, right down to the Southern depths of North London, with humongous clouds hanging over Wengerland.

Every day that passes is seeing Spring a step nearer, think positive, as March and April get closer by the passing hour, when you will be able to get the Silverware out and share an afternoon beer and a chat with friends.

But if it helps to talk about it for now, then feel free to let your emotions out below, we are all friends and are here to help.

On the count of four, 1, 2, 3, 4 go.....

of course I will start the thread off.

After a difficult start to the season, my little pub team were deep into relegation, looking up at a point of no return. But then steps up a new manager and we have climbed to the mighty heights of nearly mid-table, what a transformation, even mumbling of play-off hopefuls. Obviously i would not be stupid enough to predict that, but with the likes of Sunderland still rooted to the bottom of the Championship, either way, the rest of the season is going to be interesting.

Mine is going fine..well in the mix for 2-4th spot. Even though we are around 6th in financial clout. In the Champions league knockout stage having to overcome a group that contained the current holders of the CL and Borussia Dortmund. We were supposed to scrape 3rd in that group but we won 5 and drew 1. Plus, we are in the pot for tonight's FACup draw

****

We have **** fans and a **** manager and we are 100% going down.

Beat Fulham though so should be alright in the Championshp

Thank you for sharing your distressing story, however, you have come to the right place, think positive, you could always be an Arsenal supporter on the brink of a Champions League placing but never quite good enough, you could be a dreamer lurking around the top of the table but never winning **** all. You could be a gooner watching your team get trounced by four goals by some team from Nottingham. As the monty python team once said, always look on the bright side of life. Good luck for the rest of the season. <ok>

PL: Boring. Our manager is a tedious, whining bell end who has been incredibly predictable.

Non-League: Loving it. Mid-table mediocrity, proper football experience.

Spreading the love of Lower League football, well done Stan, you are a credit to the thread <applause>

There is no scoreboard and we have to wait a couple of days to watch the highlights. Sometimes they have to get a fan to draw them as the JVC camera is broken.

Proper football mate. The days of the toilet was pissing up a wall, or travelling to Aldershit, crossing a muddy field to get to the ground, once inside if you want a piss, joining a dozen strong queue to piss in a hut, while holding onto your hotdog at the same time that you had just purchased while waiting directly opposite. Or the burger van at Crawley with rats begging for a bite. Or days at Wimbledon telling the stewards to fcuk off when they try and move you from your prime spot, they just look and think **** this and walk off <laugh>

We genuinely love it. Thought the boy would be a bit snobbish about it given he’d only ever done PL grounds before but he is as into it as I am. A couple of the players follow him on Instagram FFS!

Meh season for the Champions.
Our title is more or less lost to City, and we are just ticking over in second gear, not great, but not **** either.
CL we have been average, PL we have been average, FA Cup we have been average

Meh......

****ing ****e,appointed a clown without a clue and don't seem interested in sacking him despite him being woefully out of his depth.

Hoping for a decent draw tonight in the cup.

Happy with my team (reigning champions) but City have won it already so we are running for 2nd with United & Liverpool. My local team Mashare Chaiyaphum have just won runners up in the Regional T4 central league and have been promoted to the Thai league 4 champions league.

We only get around 1900 fans for home games although there was a sell out 2564 against the winners Sisaket.
