Looking forward to this, I am hoping that the boys can put in a big performance and do the business, will be interesting to see how we play if we go 1-0 up. Will we get the second goal or sit back and invite the inevitable. Will we have a new face in before kick off?
Any game against any team outside the top six or so is big for us now. I can still feel the pain of when we had successive home games against Forest and Doncaster in the Championship and we conspired to lose them both. Not that it mattered in terms of our fate - we were going to be relegated - but could have shed the 10 point penalty. But it certainly felt like the beginning of the end. Trouble this season is that too many have been saying that there are a number of "nailed on" teams for relegation. We should know better. How many times have we been in that position and then had a little run and escaped. It needs to be remembered that a couple of wins and draw in, say, a 5 match run and things look very different at the bottom end. Get a point against Watford and it'll look OKish. A defeat and we'll all be back under the duvet. Hold on tight, folks, and keep the loo paper stocks high.

so our last game JWP scored the only goal , so he will clearly be dropped along with PEH who was our best player . The defence kept a clean sheet so mope will have to shake that up a bit , probably bring FF back in and bring Bardnek in for McQueen .
Is Cedric definitely out? If so I'd have the above team with JWP and Pierre in for Redmond and Lemina.

Haven't seen a game with a good picture for a while! Thought Long and Boufal were very good, Bednarek struggled against Sessegnon. The rest were ok. Agree with Saintmagic's team McCarthy Pied Stephens Yoshida Bertrand Lemina Romeu Redmond Boufal Tadic Long Maybe the reason we drop off in the second half is just because we don't make subs soon enough. 3 on at 60 minutes please!
Bad memories of that particular game...Sitting at home in a bad way from having mumps. Put a fair whack of money on us to win only to fail miserably. Taught me not to put money on a Saints win again!
