There is, he believes he said it. If he is proven not to say it then it’s a misunderstanding as someone said the mirror reported. That way everyone is clear and it’s the FA decision to punish the shove after the game for ‘violent conduct’ and maybe Firmino for needing to be restrained by the ref.

I don’t want anyone here to be guilty.

According to FA guidelines, the case will be dealt with before Liverpool's next game at home to Manchester City on Sunday week.

The FA are expected to decide by Tuesday whether to charge Firmino, with the player given until 6pm the following day to respond and submit any evidence. The hearing would then be scheduled to take place on Thursday.

Has anybody else got access to these 6 angles or are they his own personal property?

Ignore my last post, the article says 6 clips, not angles which is the same as we have all seen.

Just out of interest, have any of the "expert" lip readers said that the ref stated "didn't hear it" or are we just accepting the fact he held his hand to his ear piece and shook his head to mean that?
Could he have been talking to the person on the other end saying "didn't hear you" since everyone was shouting at him?

So many things we all guess at, I suppose we will have to wait until the official report and then argue about that

Portugeuse would be Neguinho not Negrito, which is Spanish, which also seems to have confused the Mirror "Expert" Es maluco indeed!

Also in Brazil Negro or Neguinho is the accepted version and not Black or Preto/pretinho. If you call a Black guy Preto in Brazil, you'd better be wearing a good pair of tênis.

They have the same exact skin tone. They both look of mixed race to me. Would be a bit odd for one to call the other that as an insult. (Not that they couldn't). I'm not sure Holgate's ethnicity but Firm is likely a mix of European and African ancestry like most Brazilians.

A lot of talk that Firmino was shouting in Portugese why would he suddenly slip into English, maybe because he wasn't getting a reaction or being understood?

think whatever he said, racist or not, he's not going to be able to use the Suarez defence that it was meant to be a term of endearment. :emoticon-0138-think

it's absolutely ridiculous I agree. need to move on and wait for fa to charge. nothing else to be said as the usual suspects are ignoring the actual evidence either way.

    Holgate claims Firmino said n*****

Fat Sam and Steve Walsh who somehow heard it claim it was "negro"

Madley heard nothing, the cameras show nothing

The press state they made the ref aware of the comment, this goes against Sam saying Walsh would deal with it in post match

    ah the press again.

As i said, clarity and FA leadership needed.

    1. what was said word for word fully. Including the final couple words

    2. Who heard what exactly, as testimony. I believe kenny only heard holgate saying it as he never reacted at all.

    3. holgates the only one focused on firmino talking IMO . the vid is clear. He clearly didn't hear what he said to the ref. thats him putting it in english. We need to know exactly what he thought he heard not what he translated it into

    4. we need to fa to make a clear statement. IMO the best and worst is no charges for anyone and no explanation of what went on. That solves nothing.

As said before, I hope it’s a misunderstanding that was reported to be cleared up at HT.

As for walsh and Sam. That’s @astro reading what he wants to believe.
