Ultimately I have no idea what was said. I said from the start the push deserved a yellow and could have been red.

If I thought someone had used racist language towards me I would make it known, hats off to Holgate and Brewster for taking a stand.

That's the opposite of what I'm saying - the push wasn't planned (it was an uncontrolled act of aggression), and, if Bobby is somehow proved not to have said anything racist, the racial claim is a spur of the moment act of desperation to avoid the consequences of his unplanned action. Or Bobby did say something racist - there's no inbetween in my book.

I said that, from what is publicly available so far, the evidence doesn't exist. That doesn't mean Firmino is free. Might mean he SHOULD be free. Not the same thing.

 

I agree. Comilla ****ed Suarez up by going and interviewing his own player for ref to record in his report.

Even most of Man U supporting friends and family (in laws) agree that Suarez (and Liverpool's) biggest mistake was not taking the Schmeichal defence when Ian Wright accused him and denying absolutely everything, and being backed to the hilt by Fergie for doing so. The only evidence the FA lip-readers would have then had would have been Evra abusing Suarez.

They'd have still banned Luis though - that train left the station months before when Suarez ripped United to shreds in the game of April in the previous season. Evra was under orders to nobble and wind-up Suarez, and Suarez was making a fool of him and getting under his skin. It was backfiring on Evra and he tried to start a fight, doubtless on Fergie's instructions.

But I don't want o talk about that again...

What was said, it’s 50/50. But all these expert lip readers can’t read lips for the few seconds Kenny has his head in the way. That’s not clear in any of the views.

Holgate thinks he hears N****r, his reaction is passionate.

I hope it’s a misunderstanding and it’s cleared up, I really do. Not at any stage do I think Holgate has made this up to avoid a card, I also hope Firmino hasn’t said it.

On the contrary - IF a racist word has been used then the player and the player only is to blame. IF there is any evidence to support that. What I fear we have is a situation where there is no evidence either way, therefore Bobby is assuming (conveniently) guilty. I'm only going on what is in the public domain so far - if Holgate's dad says different, then nobody can argue with that.

 

I hope for world peace and an end to hunger.

Not realistic though: it's either Bobby said it or Holgate made it up. There is no middle way.
