Nessy today was dire among dire performers. Own goal, ok it happens but he allowed the goalscorer to jump way above him to score the winner. Nessy isnt good enough for our first team. Berardi was the only one to show bottle irrespective of if he is good enough. He was doing everything today and if other had shown his commitment we would have scraped through.
yes in fact he made money. He holds 100% of the club assets and they went up by more than the fee he paid. This bloke is just a Bates with better PR.
Nobody is negative for the sake of it. People are negative because there are no positives to take from what is still happens to our club... Today is only a symptom.

There are positives to be taken out of today. Lots of lessons learned +/or confirmed about the players: Lonners - for anyone in doubt, he confirmed that he needs to be replaced. His consistent humping the ball up the park attracted an equally consistent attack being mounted by the opposition in return. He has learned nothing. Gone in the summer. Berardi - for anyone in doubt, he confirmed that he is still a great defender & gives his all. Sadly, his lack of pace rules him out of being a first choice attacking FB on either wing. If we simply want a defender, he's fine. But we don't with this system. I think we have to acknowledge that his time has come, unless we need a sawn-off CB as cover. Gone in the summer. CBJ - any lingering doubts that he should go should have been crushed today. Awful. Gone ASAP. Nessi - did ok today. Not sure if he'll become a star CB, or DM for that matter, but stood in ok today. He's still a youngster, remember. Anita - another Berardi at FB. No idea what he's like as a DM, but I suspect they've already had a look at him there in training & don't like what they see. Reminds me of Bridcutt, & he didn't hack it in this system. Gone in the summer. Klich - confirmed our suspicions once again. Nothing special, so gone ASAP. Sacko - I can see how we can find him useful tactically at times, but I have no idea why we signed him. Unless there's a massive improvement, gone in the summer. Cibicki - will give him the benefit of the doubt for now. Clearly has something, but we need to find out how to draw good performances out of him consistently, as he's done so elsewhere. In mitigation, he's in a new division, new country & just after completing a full season immediately before joining us. Use only if necessary this season & re-evaluate next season. Grot - has offered absolutely nothing this season. Time for a loan or drop down to the u23s. There are other striker candidates in the u23s who could do no worse. I have no idea why TC persists with him/ Hopefully, one for the future, but not for now. Soggy - there's no denying his capability, but it's just not working with our system, is it? Now only if he had anything resembling mobility ... Should be on the bench & used only if he can turn a match around. TC - has used today to clearly demonstrate our limitations & requirements. If it was intentional, he's been very brave & must have been in a really shiity place to take it on. If not, he's either not wanted us to progress in the cup, for the greater good, or he's made a huge mistake. At very least, he should have a much clearer picture of who he can rely on now.
