I don’t believe that but what appears to be happening is firmino is taking a blast after being the initial victim and people (eg shearer appear to have found him guilty)

I just personally don't want to say holgate made the whole thing up, he reacted to whatever.. I don't think it was the puta and in his face stuff, he reacted after. I would prefer to believe is a misunderstanding. It would be shocking and irresponsible if a lad did that and set back the cause of speaking up on racism.

What we have is holgate saying it and then is it Kenny saying he deffo heard it. I would question kenny cos if thd ref didnt and he was closer whats he heard then?

As I said the video I posted shows the ref put his whistle to his mouth. I didn't record the game so I can't look bavk to see if whistle was blown. I think he was giving a free and had to at least book the little thug but once firmino reacted the guy becomes the victim.

Firmino is lucky the ref stopped him as imo holgate would have dropped if firmino touched him and he would be off.

Sadly.. you need to play act to get the thug punished it seems.

What I have posted is what I think the fa will do.

I would prob give both 3 matches ban myself as clearly firmino used foul and abusive language and had to be restrained by ref which is highly unusual. It's a reaction and we have seen loads of cases where the reactor gets a red and 3 games.

I would have wanted a red for holgate for dangerous play on the night. I just don't think the fa dare to it.

 

The push is clearly a red for me, let's not take any bullsyte from our visitors that its "just a push". If you watch it again, holgate pushes him twice the first one is a typical coming together type nudge when still just about on the pitch and then a clearly deliberate attempt to injure bobby by pushing full force with two hands into the hoardings.

 

As I said we need total clarity of ever word he said to prove utterly it's a mistake.

Sheared clearly found him guilty on the night, wanting it to be spitting first then he was delighted to call it race as that's worse.

As I've said since it happened there one second with 2 words we have not got clarity on.

I really really don't think holgate just made it up. I just don't want to think a lad would do it as it's too important an issue for everyone for that to happen.

 

Your last paragraph is exactly what is wrong with the FA
Think you are close to spot on.
Personally I think that the two need to come out with their managers and just apologise to each other and show that they are all adults about it it.
Point scoring against your local rivals pales into insignificance with the subjects they have managed to bring this incident into.
This is about being role models.
The FA can then accept that all have made up and take no further action but send out a warning any further instances of this ilk will result in a four month ban.

Then do Holgate for the initial shove

I would agree but do think ref was only ever giving yellow on basis of what he let go before it.

Imo in any other game it'd have been red. I think you are bang on about the second push but I just can't see the fa doing anything
