Clearly they knew a big bid for Coutinho was coming their way, so they were able to get VVD with a irrefutable offer. Makes you wonder how much they've got left to replace him with.

Give or take that's the Coutinho money gone.

 

Keita is our midfield replacement. Unfortunately Coutinho couldn't wait till the summer but oh well.

Different type of player and we'll change our system slightly to suit.

You can't just replace Coutinho. He's not the 2nd most expensive player in history for nothing!

I know you're on the wum, but I am going to bite.

When you see the likes of United and Real giving up any kind of chase on Kane, you know that we're not going to be selling any player that we don't have to sell.

The news is, that Kane is going to be offered a £90k per week increase on his basic salary, which will put him on a par with the very best in the World. Given that he has already said that he intends to spend his career at Spurs, you can see that he'll be going no where any time soon. I have a fantastic avatar planned for Pixie, by the way...

As for the likes of Rose and Alli, I have said it many, many times before, so I will say it again, in the hope that you and others will stop trying to wum me on the subject, that I really don't care if they do leave - if that is what they each want, and we get top dollar for them.

I would rather that we kept hold of the likes of Alderwiereld, Son, Eriksen, Sanchez, Aurier and Wanyama, and build on them.

Rose, I believe, burnt his bridges when he came out with his ****, just as Walker did. Poch will get rid of anyone who doesn't want to be at the club, no matter how good they may be, on the basis that a player who is only half as good (but who wants to play for us) is going to be of more use to him than the better player (who is dreaming of playing for another club). If Rose really wants to go to United and play under a ****-manager like Mourhino, best of luck of luck to him - that'll be £60m, thank you very much Mr Glazier!

Alli - I would rather he stay with us, but he'd have to buck his ideas up, stop acting like some Billy Big Bollocks show-boater. if he can't, I'd happily take £120m off some club mug enough to pay that kind of money for him, so that we can invest in good young players who will listen to Poch and knuckle down for the squad.

 

To be fair, Sissoko has improved immensely under Poch. He's looked quite handy in most matches, so far, this season.

I reckon he's easily worth £30m on current form. He's no longer so bad that we absolutely have to get rid of him.
