How what? if you took the time to read 500 posts maybe take the time to ask a question that makes sense...

I thought it would be dramatic.

Then, How can your manager do such a thing?

I was bored. You all seem to want your manager out now, surely the Sunderland board should also see this.

Cup or no cup, you should always have a striker on the pitch, and probably 2 against worse opposition!

After seeing 4 premier league sides losing in the CC and only 3 coming out with a win, I'm now ****ting myself for tomorrow for Bolton vs. Macclesfield!

Don't mate, you've got a decent manager and squad!

Does Coyle have any sort of release clause in his contract?

Macclesfield, ey, sends a shiver down one's spine. I challenge you lot to win without a striker on the pitch. It's the way cool clubs play these games now.

Don't know, but I think he'll only leave us for a top 5 club, and unless you can convince really well, I doubt he will go for Sunderland.

Give it a go though all you like :D

Love it, butter them up first before moving in for the kill. Superb predatory instincts. I'd have Coyle, like.

Let's hope we take the challenge TO them! :p I can't imagine Coyle ever NOT playing 2 strikers... ever. Not even in a second leg against Barca where we need to defend a 1-0 lead.

Liverpool could try it against Exeter tomorrow as well, see who can get the most goals (if any).

240 people viewing this thread when I started reading. <ok>

And what do they see a lot of negativity from supporters who should know better.

Having a go at Bruce before a ball was even kicked, WTF is all that about?

Are you all so stupid and can't see he was experimenting with our best player up front?

You all seem to have very short memories and his brilliant tactics got us to 10th in the Premier League.

Ok he lost this match but he was unlucky, the players he put out weren't up for the game clearly, and they hadn't listened to his team talk where he explained the tactics required to win against the mighty Brighton.
Yes it was a definite penalty and the lad was incorrectly yellow carded for diving, but we can pretend the card was legitimate. <ok>
You can't blame Bruce for Richardson jogging back behind the lad who crosses for their goal making sure he slowed down to allow him to cross. <ok>

There were some brilliant crosses flying into the box at head height, are you Bruce haters trying to blame him for Sess's lack of height?

You clearly aren't proper supporters, even if Bruce is tactically inept you should stand behind him and give him your full support, until he drags our great club down.
You sound like that deluded bloke Cest he reels out actual figures on Bruce's record, clearly trying to outfox us with facts.
You should all take a long hard look at yourselves and get behind Bruce 100%.
Never been so embarrassed to be a Sunderland supporter. :(
