One of my old favs SHOTGUN PADDY is a knocking good price in the Sussex National if putting in one of his better efforts.
I imagine Cracking Smart will be ridden a little more intelligently today and will be a harder opponent for Next Destination but i've not been more impressed by a novice hurdler all year than Mullins's Champion Bumper fourth and i'd expect him to dot up again. No price. Not a bet but a really interesting race. With Samcro carrying the weight of a nation on his shoulders in the Ballymore at Cheltenham you could see Next Destination swerving the middle distance race and turning up in the Albert Bartlett. Personally i'd rather see Next Destination win today (albeit he's running against 3 milers) then challenge Samcro in the Ballymore in what would be one of the races of the Festival.
Leo Luna looks to have been targeted this race- interesting run last month to Getontheyager, he is only a 9yo and a lot lower mark than he was at his peak. Plus the Gary Moore factor at plumpton to. Wouldn’t be suprise if he has this as a target for a while
Gary Moore's Coolking looks interesting, pulled up last three times on good/soft but before that won Three times on Heavy, C+D winner and at 10/1 could be a very good ew shout.
What a lovely specimen Stand Up And Fight is - far too short a trip for him today but boy he is a stunner.
After that I think Next Destination has to run in the Ballymore where he’d have the best form going into the race. You can’t be afraid of one horse. Cracking Smart will love the Hill in the Albert Bartlett.
Apart from Next Generation today has been a grave yard for buying money punters. Sent from my SM-G920F using Tapatalk
I was impressed with his hurdling for a debutant and I think Danny was riding him to make sure he got the trip. Might have won if he'd made more use of him. One to keep on the right side of
