Said before, there are various & devious forms of aftertiming. Unfortunately, have never mastered any of them.<whistle><laugh>

  4. <laugh> me neither. On a Saturday or a big midweek race day I will definitely have bets that have not been posted on here. Does anyone really place a bet and think "heck - I had better post it now?"

Bob, usually on a Saturday early afternoon in the winter months I will be watching the Premier League, then watch the last few races after the match. So no, I only bother with the jumps game on Cheltenham week or on my very rare visits to the courses (two in 2017).

I did find it kind of amusing that the horse was only three years younger than the jockey. According to the trainer on SportingLife.com, he could run in the Grand National if it came up soft but is more likely to go for one of the Irish or Midlands Nationals, ground permitting.

Just for good measure, my mate’s greyhound got beat in a race at Kinsley last night where the market was 176 per cent over round – the favourite 7/4, the outsider just 7/2. I cannot believe that people are stupid enough to bet on such terms at the track. I lost my money betting blind at SP as my mate said it would win if it trapped but it was third away. No Sunday beer money. :emoticon-0101-sadsm
