Don’t really understand the anger over the Hojbjerg sub. Lemina is a good player. Did people forget how great he was early in this season when pundits were talking about how he might end up the sigining of the year. It’s important to get him some playing time. And just as important for Hojbjerg to get a bit of rest when he can. And we still won. It’s the FA Cup. Doing just enough to beat the other side is exactly what we should be aiming for. It’s a little worrisome that maybe just beating Fulham is all we CAN aim for, but that’s a matter of squad talent not tactics. If we were sitting 7th in the league right now, and MP made that same sub and we won, no one would be complaining at all.

What a load of bollocks. Goal disallowed. Penalty not given. Bar hit. I agree the last ten were hard, but this is away in the FA cup where teams come and throw everything at you. Grip a grip for goodness sake...
It really isn’t a matter of squad talent. It’s entirely a matter of tactics, inability to motivate, lack of leadership, lack of proactivity, lack of game management and lack of responsiveness to in-game occurrences. I’m very happy we’re through, but it’s insanity to think any of the glaringly obvious issues have been addressed as a result. Let’s not kid ourselves here.
Glad I went. Not going to live long in the memory but a win and a clean sheet. We really do need to crack on with getting some new players in though. As an aside, thought the booing and hassle given to Pellegrino over the Lemina sub was unfair. Apologies if I’ve just dredged up pages of debate but my phone is about to die!
A week at Southampton - Monday - it’s all Fosters fault Tuesday - it’s VVDs fault Wednesday - it’s Ralphs fault Thursday - it’s the black box Friday - it’s Les’s fault Match day - it’s MP2’s fault
