I posted about this earlier in season But I think it is more likely we were trying harder cause he wasn’t there as opposed to he has left. This could make us stronger or it could break us - we will get to see how Klopp manages the situation. I am also fairly certain some of the comments are wums At the minute I am more worried about Mane’s attitude and Salah’s Goal drought!
Seismic stuff alright. Although we all knew that Coutinho might go in the near future, I don't think getting VVD is adequate replacement for him. Yet another disruption to our squad as soon as we get our **** together. Almost back to square one. The key question is how are we going to spend that £140m? 2 overvalued overhyped players from Spain?
We aren't back to square one at all. We have Salah to provide an attacking threat. Keita coming in to provide a much-needed box to box mid. VVD offers stability at the back. Whilst this doesn't mean all our problems are solved, we are hardly back to the days when we were scrapping for EL places.
Fair enough but 1) we don't have a good record of spending transfer money wisely and 2) it is hard to imagine any of our rivals behaving in the same way.
