Yeah just seen that Think Mahrez deal will depend on what we pay for him as to whether it is a good deal or not I quite like him but not some of his previous antics That said he can spot a pass so just going to wait to see what unfolds More faith in our transfers of late cause I am fickle
Your last sentence sums it up. Our recent recruitment seems to be a lot better now (amazing what happens when a manager and the scouts are in sync). I do think the likes of Lemar and Mahrez will improve further under Klopp.
I like the offensiveness but with attacking FBs too, we'd be leaving VVD + partner with quite a lot of defensive responsibility there; none of the highlighted are doing a lot of defending
Philippe Coutinho's move to Barcelona is edging closer and could even be completed this weekend, writes @neiljonesecho The Reds have not given up hope of holding on to their star man, and as it stands there has been no formal offer from Barcelona for them to consider. This is the point I've been thinking about for a while, but haven't got round to making. It's unlikely we could replace Coutinho like-for-like, but you play with what you have so we just have to approach it differently.
Lallana > Coutinho as a midfielder Salah > Coutinho as a forward We don't need or even want a like for like replacement, just make sure the overall contribution is being made up
Coutinho deal is apparently done at £105m plus £40m in possible add ons. He flies to Barcelona today, official signing on Monday subject to medical.
