I think with Sunderland the footy has always come first. Many an old school hooligan doesn't give a **** about the game it's self. The scrap is the match for a lot of them and footy comes a distant second. Sunderland has football in the blood. Same for the mags as the Gremlins were **** all too. It's a footy region with little interest in hooligans it seems.
The Vauxies were an older crew, preceded the Seaburn Casuals but also around at the same time. Not a firm as such, from memory. They liked their beer & footie , home and away, but enjoyed a good scrap when the occasion arose. ****ing daft that it’s coming back in some hybrid, anti social media form.
We would be better off losing this game, and whilst I’d never hope that we do, if we do I won’t even blink at it. Still tickets left, I nearly bought some then I didn’t for exactly this reason, the cup simply isn’t important right now. I can’t even buy CCs ‘nice distraction’ talk. If we won the cup and went down it’s still oblivion so **** it. I reserve the right to rescind this comment if we win a couple rounds of course
I've been away to a few England games & apart from the usual suspects, WHU & Cheslea some of the worst were Stockport & Barnsley.
If Ethan Robson is a defender, that's seven of them in the team. So he's a CM having checked, maybe I'm thinking of the wrong Robson.
I couldn’t give a Rick about this game, result wise. I hope the young-UBS getting a crack at it give it their best.... that is all
wow ! i would crap myself bumping into that lot, must be hard cases galore there the tallest being about 5' 4" hehe. Drinking shandy most likely.
Surprise surprise, a Steele horror show by all accounts. Those to keepers aren't worth the **** from my arse.
