Happy to have Mahrez as a squad rotation option, but we need top top quality playmaker signing to replace Coutinho.

 

Monaco realise that Thomas Lemar has no intention of signing a contract extension, that his value will be greater now than in summer, and could open the door. Liverpool also attentive. (L'Équipe)

 

I’m guessing Lemar is the like for like Coutinho replacement but Mahrez is another squad option for the front 3.

 

Maher’s would be good addition to squad. Found form again this season.

Not a replavement for Cout though.

 

Statisically, he’s producing some very good numbers. Obviously not as good as Coutinho but bear in mind he plays for Leicester. He could improve further under Klopp and in this Liverpool side.

I do think he’s a better option for us than Ox or Lallana.

 

But it’s intersting that Monaco's stance on Lemar is changing. Will they sell in January ...

 

Neither are good as a playmaker

 

Lemar is extremely creative. And only 22. Lot of potential.

 

But a winger. Granted, Coutinho is too but not everyone converts well

 

He can play LW or LCM. Often tucked in centrally last season because he had Mendy overlapping on the left wing.

 

They can improve under Jurgen Klopp

 

Stop ****ing about and sign Draxler.

If we could sign two players in January (plus Coutinho leaving), which option would people prefer:

- Alisson Becker (GK) and Lemar
- Lemar and Mahrez

 

Draxler.

 

I don’t think Klopp would want him given he chose PSG over us last time.
