I'm in Bedfordshire mate. That looks an awesome course. Links golf is as hard as it gets though. I'd struggle like ****! Where do you play?
It's not really that long so I'm going six. Need loft, especially in the rough, of which there is plenty. I'll be happy with 30 points really.
No mate. One of the guys in my local is a member of Woburn. But he's loaded! My club is John O'Gaunt.
I honestly think over analysis exercise. Unless you want to be a bodybuilding looking type freak, all exercise is good. Not thayt i'm in any position to talk now
Have you played Carnoustie The main course, JoG, is a genuine challenge for anyone. Every hole is different to every other. Carthagena is shorter, more par3's. Doesn't make it any easier though. A different sort of challenge.
Health thing, not too bothered about weight but I eat badly at times so now and then I go on health kick.
According to my Garmin app that's 6.61 miles and 1299 calories. Scored 29. Only got 1 point over the closing three holes, was going well until then.
What’s important here is not just the calories. Your metabolic rate is the rate at which your body burns calories. Raising the heart rate through exercise not only forces your metabolic rate to increase to supply energy to the muscles, but regular exercise will raise your resting metabolic rate too - Basically, kick it into a higher gear. So you’re burning more calories even when you’re not working out.
Just done the food shop for the week. Totally avoided buying anything naughty. Even bought some green tea, so it looks like I'm gonna have to start being healthy again.
Finally finished the Christmas cake so that's helpful in being good. Perfect mountain food though. Had to turn back, all the paths were too treacherous and the wind chill must have been -10C, at best. Was mental, I've been in some proper mountain situations and this was as arduous as I've encountered, let alone a five year old making her debut! No shame in turning back.
Went for a short hike here this morning. Only 2 miles round the headland, but had my four year old daughter in tow so it was a good hour and half walk and it was ****ing freezing !
Panettone and brandy butter pudding for tonight's dessert. Superb. Great for using up those last Christmas bits and pieces, ****e for the post Christmas diet! At least it fits the pescatarian bill.
