    It's certainly interesting right now.

Arsenal can't afford much of a slip up now.

Our 3 point gap after 22 games is not decisive but it gives us a free crack at city after the fa cup.

So spurs in 5th have 41 points after 22 games. 16x2= 32 points so 73 points would be par for them.

    74 points for lfc = 30 more..... 10 wins out of 16.

Tight race this but we will see.

Our 'Goals for' (50) makes us closer to Utd than Spurs.

I think it will but hopefully the amount of rotation will decline as the season progresses. Need to keep the strongest eleven on the pitch towards the business end of the season

oh and clear winner is 76 points.

from poll info this morning 12 people voted. Thanks to them btw.

    median 76
    mode 76
    mean 75.5

so the view is 76 points to get 4th. 9-5-1 record for LFC.

Also, I hope the likely sale of Coutinho in January doesn’t have a big impact on us.

That’s certainly do able I reckon. We have rotated and rested key players during this horrible congested period and we’ve come out relatively unscathed.

My concern now is the January transfer window and how disruptive it could be. Coutinho could be a big loss IMO, especially if we don’t replace him.

I’m hoping VVD will come in and make a strong impact defensively as well.

until barca actually act thats moot.

I'm waiting for the fake bid today

We only have FA cup and two decent league matches after city game to play. Hopefully we can win the league matches v swansea and huddersfield without him and then see.

city is city. its a free game imo

Even if they don’t bid, it will cause disruption because I reckon Coutinho will be a little bitch again and go on strike.

I keep reading about how professional he's been about it all and how he wants to be respectful to the club. My memory of it is that he threw a strop and sulked until the window was over and only then decided to start to play again.

You really are resigned to losing Coutinho. Don't worry he is staying. We will finish behind Man Citeh I can guarantee that
