I wouldn't even call it a statue, it looks more like a piece of rubbish left behind by a travelling circus.
Everton sign totally unheard of striker from totally irrelevant league for £27m I thought Van Dick was a ludicrous fee but this in a way tops it. Premier League clubs must now in essence approach every deal knowing they are going to be screwed for every last penny. Lower leagues and players out of contract is the most realistic future for clubs not operating on petrodollars.
The Whinger is apparently contesting his latest charge, citing that everything he said was in public and that he stuck by every word. Trouble is, that the charge relates to his verbals in the officials changing room! http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/42561476 Timing is excellent, as he’s likely to be charged again after his latest outburst last night!
who is it supposed to be? If John Terry it has ironic charm. Edit Bugger. Both points already made. Was rather pleased with myself as well.
James Rodriguez seems to understand his reasons for Los ladrones loaning him out... "I think managers have their preferences, and I think i wasn't one of (Zidane's) preferences. Despite playing well, scoring goals, and providing assists. So, as I said before everyone has his preferences and they have to be respected."
Had you prior to this announcement? Had anyone other than HBIC? Do you not feel that the fee is insane, even allowing for January VAT?
Nope, but in fairness lots of players come into the PL that I have never heard of, some are great some are ****e. How can I tell what the fee is like when I know nothing about him, on top of that £27m these days sounds really cheap for a striker (regardless of his world fame or not).
Barklay to Chavs confirmed...... £150k pw to sit on a padded seat for 3 hours a week. Good work if you can get it. Personally, I’m glad we backed off this unproven mercenary. He’s found his ideal club I reckon!
Be polite about it, not nasty. Objectively there are several actual/alleged reasons for Spurs not to have signed him now (see the transfer thread) . I assume Barkley has similarly reasoned on his future position if nobody signs him now.
