    Good Morning Everyone

Expect to see eleven changes on Sunday, as Leeds travel down to South Wales to play Newport County for the second time this season.

We talk about the fielding of a weakened team every season, but would anyone here really care if we were knocked out of the Cup at this early stage?

    Who would you play?

Leeds are chasing Saints left back Sam McQueen.

The 22 year old has been part of the Saints academy since he was 8 years old.

Leeds face competition from both Reading and Brentford.

He is behind Ryan Bertrand and Matt Targett in the pecking order and has made just one Premier League start this term.

Looks like we have missed out on Woodburn.

The Liverpool forward will sign for Sunderland next week.

According to the Daily Mail, the 18-year-old wants to link up with former Wales boss Chris Coleman at the Stadium of Light.

Coleman handed Woodburn his international debut in September.

Signing for a club at the bottom of the championship and almost 100% wont be in it next season? I dont follow the logic of the young player who is wanting to prove themselves...

I suppose getting game time in a pressured environment could be good experience, particularly when you can go back to your parent club regardless of where they finish.

Good morning to Matt and co from a bright but chilly Bardsey
Mc Queen played against Mu recently and has had really good grounding from their academy so I would say he would be a good aquistion for us
Not keen on Clayton reminds me of Wilkins always a square ball
My team P FARREL Beradi capt Pennington lad from Finland Denton
    Dallas Cibricki Klitch Sako
Lassoga and young lad from York
Seems we are in for Vela from Bolton who his after every penny they can raise
BP is going back to MU and will be farmed out to Reading

Read lots of stuff yesterday where majority saying we will see between 8 and 11 changes for this game. I think thats too many but expect 5 with more to get time on the pitch off the bench if we are winning, or some established hands to step in if we're losing.

Grot needs to show if he has anything, Clarke is being spoken about too as high hopes for this kid. Nessie and Pennington. Story is that CBJ goes to Reading and Klich goes to FC Twente so will they be risked for this.

One thing thats started this week with loan players, is that their clubs are now dictating terms: you want our kid, you guarantee him game time or you opay a penalty clause in his contract. Liverpool and Man Utd doing it for their kids now, bet Everton wish they had done it for Pennington. These kids learn by being at a big club, or a club fighting for promotion, they dont learn by playing every match against solid hardmen butchers of defenders, so inexperience can damage the lending club. Personally I believe CBJ hasnt been given a chance but for all I know he could be a petulant prat who thinks hes gods gift and has the wrong attitude

More to be revealed by tomoz but it now seems we own 2 Jap players, with the latest one a striker going out on loan to a Dutch outfit. We know the midfielder is supposed to be a mix of Bremner and Giles, yes thats how good he is rated, but the striker? Love the secrecy at ER these days but would love to at least know what the plan is. One story yesterday suggested that the midfielder Ideguci or whatever would be playing for us this season because Orta and legal team knew a way through the present overseas rule?

Tommy is now denyting Jap2 is a Leeds player at todays prezzer, everyone scratching heads. I suspect that Orta and Aspire own Jap2 so they send him out on loan whilst making their minds up where he will play next season?

Tommy also says Clarke may play Sunday but Grot starts, 2 more kids have not gone with the U23s

    Afternoon all..

Did we miss out on Woodburn? Were we ever genuinely after Him? Did we make an enquiry and never follow it up?

Phillips happy at Leeds, loves Leeds and wants to win promotion with them, couldn’t imagine playing for anyone else, nice article:
    https://footballleagueworld.co.uk/midfield-ace-reveals-his-desire-to-remain-with-leeds-united/

The level of Phillips’ performances this season mean top-flight clubs could be taking a look at the midfielder, which make his comments even more important to the Whites.

Who knows if these links are just press speculation... everyone knows the positions we’re short in.

McQueen is a winger turned fullback, meant to have talent but is a young inexperienced kid on loan what we need? That was the Borthwick Jackson plan.

Vela is a plays everywhere guy. Fullback turned midfielder can play defensive midfield but has mainly been used as a 10 recently not where we’re lacking. Maybe they think he‘s that alround midfielder we’re lacking?

Maybe we’re not interested in either of them!

Leeds United have agreed a shock double deal for Japanese centre-forward Yuta Toyokawa , it has been announced.

Belgian club KAS Eupen revealed on their official website on Friday morning that Toyokawa, 23, has signed on a loan deal from Leeds after moving to Elland Road from Japanese second division side ***iano Okayama.

It is explained that the striker will link up with Eupen at their training camp at the Doha-based Aspire Academy on Sunday after the completion of the transfer formalities.

Intriguingly, Leeds have failed to release a statement to confirm the signing of Toyokawa and there has been no speculation in the media about the possibility of him moving to the Championship promotion hopefuls.

However, United must have signed the Japanese striker in order for him to be loaned out to Eupen, in what is a double deal seemingly done simultaneously.

Leeds United are interested in signing Club Brugge left-back Laurens de Bock as they look to solve their problem left-back position.

Reports in Belgium claim Leeds have agreed personal terms with the 25-year-old defender and Leeds Live understands De Bock is one of the club's top targets for the position in the January transfer window.

HLN Sport claim De Bock will sign a four-and-a-half-year deal at Elland Road if he completes a move, with the two clubs said to be haggling over a fee for the player.

The full-back will continue to train with his current club while he awaits news of a possible move but has eyed a move to England since 2012, when West Bromwich Albion were credited with an interest in him.
