Sky seem to think Ballbag has a direct line to the negotiations supposedly going on today. "12:04 GUILLEM SAYS Discussions between clubs are taking place about the price right now. The figure Liverpool will start considering is 150m euros (and Barcelona will be willing to pay even more as they want this to happen). Barcelona will go as far as it takes to bring Coutinho now, the squad are putting pressure for that to happen, it is the kind of quality the team needs to keep winning titles. Both Coutinho and Barcelona want this sorted now. They don’t consider the possibility of agreeing now for the summer. That scenario only benefits Liverpool, it doesn’t benefit Barcelona or Coutinho. Eventually Liverpool will have to decide if they sell him now or in the summer, but that could be used to press Barcelona to pay even more than 150m euros." Sky Sports are as bad as any redtop these days.
fair enough Dunno whether its effort or a consistency with coutinho but yea he blows hot and cold. Would trade him for hazard any day of the week though
We were talking about Can. You want to swap him for Hazard you might have a deal. Though I don't like the selfish prick because of his downing tools in Mourinho's last disastrous year with you.
First time I read this I thought it said Flanno keeps ****ing his ears. Imagine my disappointment after I'd put my glasses on.
Whoops just saw . Yeah Can has always been average, did well when you guys were grinding out wins at the backend but has gone back to being average. Yes i would make that swap any day of the week (been singing Coutinho for ages). The only thing Hazard is better than Phil at is probably his strength from his low centre of gravity and his dribbling ability. Don't get me wrong, he's a key player for us but i actually (probably one of the very few) that get frustrated watching him play. He has the ability to do it all but he is very selfish on the ball and just loves to keep dribbling it rather than knowing when to dribble and when to pass. Also he always seems to want to beat players once or twice even when its 3 on 3. I don't know whether its because he lacks that break neck speed to get away from players but you never really see him go past the final man and bang it in. Lastly, his finishing is proper streaky. He's a little bit like mo salah, needs a few chances to bang them in except mo salahs far better at banging them in from long range. Phil is a little magician, can do it all, he can dribble like hazard but he'll be far more direct and since 14/15 he's really learnt how to shoot (his shooting was shocking before) plus he can bang in the free kicks and he's got the vision and passing ability of fab. I'd have phil all day long, just a better team player (except for when he was in brentons final year). Works harder than hazard too Saying that, has Phil lost that small burst or maybe he's been knackered but the few times i've watched him recently he's not been taking people on
Ballbag's latest(he must spend at least 30 seconds making this **** up)is a ****ing insult to our season's aspirations. "Balague says the only stumbling block to the deal going through would be whether Jurgen Klopp wants to keep Coutinho until the summer, but the Spanish football expert sees little to be gained from that." http://www.skysports.com/football/n...liverpool-talks-progress-says-guillem-balague Cheeky paella munching ****, us keeping him until the summer would gain us time to replace him and to finish in the top 4.
Can doing it in the right way IMO, he's still putting in the effort for us and he will do so throughout the season. No major drama this one, he's shown promise but had never been brilliant good luck to him.
Lol... Barca better hope LFC aren't reading sky.... Barca Agents "150m!" LFC Agent: "well we WOULD have said yes until yer mate ballbag said you'd pay much more soooooo......"
What do we make of Emre's transfer? I'm not too bothered personally. Him and Henderson are not the standard we need to really compete.
Barkley goes for just £15 million. That's shocking from Everton although there is no guarantee he'll succeed at Chelsea.
Not been playing, everyone knows he wants to leave and was out of contract in the summer. I think £15m is fair
Same can be said for Van Dijk, where we massively overspent when his value has only dropped since the summer
Its a good price for Chelsea but Everton were touting 40 odd million not long ago. Not securing his contract is a major **** up really and its cost them millions.
