The driveway is fairly spectacular, as it happens. I can sleep anywhere I like, but we both generally crash in the main lounge, usually in a drunken stupor. The bedrooms are generally made up for guest, ready for the weekends. I must say, that your interest in my life is fairly intense, mate. Even Pix doesn’t get this obsessive.
So your mate, besides the fact that he hasn't awarded himself a bedroom in his own house, didn't feel that you were worthy of being classified as a guest? Sounds like a nice friend.
HIAG's best mate owns a 6 bedroom pad in the New Forest, shares his finest wines and 40 years old Scotch with him and then makes him sleep on the couch. I'm sensing it's a bedsit in Bournemouth and the booze was supplied by the local Spar.

So he's got 6 bedrooms to choose from, presumably at least one of them being a rather fine master bedroom with en suite, yet he chooses to sleep on the couch with a balding, overweight 50 something rock god wannabe. And you want us to believe that he's not bumming you ?

**** me! The hermit returns to chime in with a comment about my life! He has two other houses in the grounds. One of which he is currently renovating and will sell for close to a million quid, and the other his family lives in. The manor house he lets out at weekends, mainly to wedding parties. During the week, we will often crash there to get drunk and watch footy. The more mess he makes, the more he has to clean up, if he has paying guests staying at the weekend. He rents it out for around £3,000 for the weekend. I'm not quite sure why any of this is so ****ing hard to follow!
Probably has something to do with him finding some wry amusement in the distinctive aroma of bovine excrement
