On the negative side, he is not a great tackler, does not go past opposition much and scores few goals. On the positive side, he has a lot of energy and is a box to box player, his reading of the game is quite good and he is young. I don`t think he was that highly rated at Sunderland.
Know what you are saying but he must have been fairly highly rated otherwise they would have let him go when the other offers came in.
Didn't Bruce say last season that he was a huge player and would be for years to come, though they thought he should and would stay there for many years? Or something like that...
Yes he did, most at Sunderland thought he would spend his career there whilst others thought he would go for a big money move to Chelsea.
