    In Japan, there are two popular terms used to describe this phenomenon. They refer to it as omote-ura.

    Omote (the public face) refers to the way a person wishes to be seen by the outside world. It’s seen as a mixture of reality, myth, and lies.

    Ura (the private face) is the reality behind the omote.

    One is a lot better than the other. The specific reason, for the most part, is low self-esteem and the desire for attention
