...should be demanding a refund. I've just checked on google maps and those fans will have done a 700 mile round trip on a tuesday night to watch Bruce destroy our chance at a winnable trophy. Fair play to every one of them I've stuck by Bruce through everything but if we get beat v Swansea on top of tonight and I'll be on the very brink of saying 'Bruce out' for the first time since he took over...
To think I almost went, its not 700 miles but about 400. I did 400 on Sat for the mags game, another 400 and I might have been in the BOB brigade. The club should refund at least the ticket cost for anyone who drove the 700 miles.
Anyone of us who make the trip, regardless of if they support Newcastle or Sunderland, to away matches of such distance get my respect.
And according to the radio it come over the tannoy that the last train was 10:30 so if they wanted to catch it they had to leave early (the half of extra time) so i bet a canny few missed it and are now stuck down there.
Wouldn't suprise me, I had something similar when I went to visit a mate at uni in London and watched Tottenham vs Bremen and although I should have never really expected an abundance of trains back up north I ended up in Leeds then getting a lift.
