Bradley Wright-Phillips got a hat-trick though --------------------------------------------------------- Say no more!
Not suggesting it's a good league, but Atlanta were meant to be terrible as it was their first season. He also coached Barcelona of course, and Newell's (as per Poch). He makes players play over their potential. Something we are so, so lacking!
Okay, you've talked me into it. If Tuchel's not available, we'll give this guy a go. Just have to persuade Ralph now - it can't be my turn to talk to him, so I'll leave that bit to you if that's okay?
I used to believe that the current set up where the standard bearers for clubs midtable premier league clubs. Now, it appears Koeman bailed them out by being an excellent manager for us before it started to unravel
Not sure about getting a manager from a very poor league is a great idea, look at what happened to Swansea with big Bruce. The fact he has a similar history to MP1 i think maybe influencing your decision. I'm pretty sure there are managers available in Europe who would be more deserving and more experienced we should be looking at first. (of course this is all irrelevant as MP2 is doing a fine job and our current position is all VVD's fault)
I don't have an opinion about Martino, but he managed Barcelona, you know Messi and company. What other reference would you like?
Back in ancient times, the tribes of fan often believed a win would give 3 (!!!!) whole points after scoring more goals than the opposition - whether you believe such a myth or not, I don't know, but that's how the story goes.
He was perfectly fine with the Argentine national team, too. Hard to blame him for two losses on penalties in the finals of consecutive tournaments.
