New Year - same reeking self interest. A Murray Out thread on CL - led by the bitter agitator Everitt of course, who posts that his wet dream Varney is a great bloke because “he was behind his desk at 7am every day”. You can see why Everitt went on to have such a brilliant career in private industry with that level of insight. Over on ITTV, Paul May states that Murray is a great bloke because he got him a seat in the Directors Box v Portsmouth. Lol. It’s that simple. Feed and water the troll and you get his support on his 6 Member Forum. Everitt and May - two self interested sides of the same very ugly arse.
"Personal friends" "They gave me free passes" "I got this/that out of it" #TheImportanceOfBeingACharltonFan
ITTV can be summed up in 2 statements: 1) Anything good that happens to the club is down to Roland; 2)Anything bad that happens is down to the protestors. Simples.
It'll be great when we start progressing with the new owners. Charlton Life and here will support them, ITTApologist will go against them Simples.
Not necessarily- I will support any owner who demonstrates that he has the long term, genuine interests of Charlton at heart. Roger Alwen being an ideal role model - never the richest of owners, but a proper gentleman and a true Charlton man.
It’s becoming increasingly clear that ITTV exists solely as a vehicle to get one person perks & privileges on match days. #NoMorals
What would you call a “Charlton fan” who is now openly encouraging the new CEO of Sheff Wed to rip Charlton off for its players ? #PaulMay
And of course she hangs on his every word. He's going to miss her knowing smiles. She will of course be phoning him for advice, probably offer him a scouting role.
A Charlton fan would not be serious about encouraging the CEO of another Club to buy our decent players. They might suggest such a thing only as a joke or a wind-up perhaps. (I certainly don't mind of Meire wants to buy some of our crap players though). The most depressing thing about the divisions between Charlton fans is that nobody wins. CARD cannot claim any kind of victory until Duchatelet has sold up. Last time I checked he is still there. And while he is still our owner every Charlton fan loses. Even after RD has gone, what is left of CAFC will take years to recover from what he has done to it. There will be more important work to do than swapping the same old insults on forums. We can help to make a better future for our Club if we come together and give our support, rather than perpetuate petty antagonisms regarding what is over and done with.
Ivor has just created a "Pathetic Lies" thread, saying 100% this did not happen. I know the poster that created the thread on Charlton Life and I can confirm 100% that the fella is not a bulls******.
Not sure how Ivor can be 100% certain that it didn’t happen, as he was at home 280 miles away (no free tickets offered yesterday?). Ivor of course has had his own flip flops where Gobbo is concerned - one minute calling him “a breath of fresh air” and exhorting his 5 followers to show patience with him. The next min Ivor started a “Robinson Out” thread and called him a One Trick Pony. In so far as Ivor has a coherent position it seems to be this - 1. He hated Meire being trolled - even though he trolled her himself 2. He hated “Richard” being threatened - even though he had publicly threatened him himself. 3. He wants the “old man to sell up and f*ck off” , having previously declared ITTV was the pro Roland site of choice.
He seems to be tying himself in knots in this case. Trying to make his mind up who to vilify without contradicting himself. Not easy.
So is he now claiming he knows about every Charlton conversation that happens. He's so desperate for attention.....Few days back he claimed he 'could quite easily fast forward to February 1st and reveal what's going to happen, but preferred to sit back and watch fans squirm and have a good old laugh at the end of it'. #sadman
Ivor has also said he would love the team and Valley be rebranded “Red Bull” just to piss off our fans - and openly called on Sheff Wed’s CEO to rip us off for Ricky Holmes. Hardly the words of a genuine Charlton fan.
