....now you must atone for your error, Saints are currently having a stroke and the only way to save our season is to sack the Argentinian Branfoot NOW!.
What's that nice Cillian Murphy doing now "Peaky Blinders" has finished. He'd sort it. Or do we need a straight call through to Sicily? Hope Ralph and Les don't keep horses.
He does not need to apologise for anything, he is in a job where you make decisions, some will go well, some won't. But what I do expect of him is a contingency plan, not having one of those would be unforgivable.
Trouble is as with all decision makers you are accountable, or should be. I totally agree some decisions can go horribly wrong just as they can go brilliantly right. The question for me though is.........have the board made enough correct decisions? For me of late they have not.......to many crucial decisions have not gone their way. It is easy to make excuses, even easier to blame other people. It is time someone actually took responsibility.
The last genuinely good decision they made was appointing Koeman and backing him with Tadic, Pelle & Mane. Since then there's been the odd glimmer of hope (Hojbjerg) but nothing that's really pushing us forward.
As a Saints fan I totally agree, the board however might take the view that £75m for a git who might still have an injury and cost £13m? Is an extremely good decision and they are still patting each other on the back and enjoying their "cigars".
I find it hard to believe that, on the whole, the manager would make signings these days anyway. It's always driven by the club/board/scouts, that's how it seems at Saints anyway.
This is the most depressed I have ever seen these boards! Strangely, also probably the most united. Have we finally reached a concensus?
It's not a good moment for the club and although I feel just as down about the situation the fans do really need to get behind the team regardless of what we think to the players/manager/board.
I absolutely agree, but the players have a responsibility too, they have to show they’re up for the fight!
By 'getting behind' the under performing players it'll make the board feel more comfortable with the situation. The atmosphere at St Marys is toxic at the moment, and rightly so. We've been awful for 12 months, there comes a time where the fans have to make their feelings known. The players are **** at home and away from home, so it's not like the negative atmosphere around St Marys is the reason we can't win. The players and manager earn an extraordinary amount of money, they should accept that the fans aren't happy paying £30+ every week to watch the dross they serve up.
