nicy put It was on the news,i think, that they are doing a vegan January or summat Every month is something now.
It's funny this fitness malarky and diets. My job consists of me roughly doing 10mile a day, and lifting stuff. So i fully exploit the eat and drink what you want rule
Good thing about being a roofer is you can eat and drink what the **** you want knowing it'll all be burned off at work.
I don't blame you I was healthy and fit ish when I worked in regeneration, used to walk loads Started working for myself doing houses and the eating habits went to pot. It suited my lifestyle with my disabled lad, but eating late and sleeping and ibevame a fat feck. Had a conversation. With my eldest lad and even he said "dad you lost your mojo"
Is that your job mate? fair play. doesn't seem to many on here with any kind of manual work, hence the puffy diets for tubsters.
I did building for a bit and I put on weight. Basically start at 8:30 and sometimes don't eat till 3. Then ravenous and chippy was closest
Changing my job at some point this year but yeah at the moment I do flat roofs; felt and glass fibre. Bloody nightmare when it rains as much as it has recently though, no chance of opening up a roof when it's like this.
My oldest lad is 19. But have a daughter couple of years older than that. Have a 17, 14, 12 and 5 year old lad too And a 10 year old lass
Yeah I've gained weight when we've had slow weeks or rubbish weather. If a job needs to get finished then I've gone from 7 till 7 without eating. Doesn't happen often mind.
Hope the roofers were decent The standard of some of them around here is shocking. We've had to replace roofs that were only a year old at best because the previous roofers had no clue.
This was my biggest problem. The work on days was such that, for example plastering needed to be done before even having a cuppa. Also you start eating croissants or whatever with a cuppa to keep your going and then a cheese butty isn't enough
