If you remove the fantasy stuff, there is no film though; the issue at hand was fantasy! Will Smith always like the out there ideas though
Substitute Triads, Mafia and da hood for orcs and elves etc and there you go. Formulaic, highly clumsy updating of Lord of the Rings.
New Inside Number 9 last night. ****ing genius PS How the **** do they get away with it? It was like a night at the Cheese with Gina and her cousin
End of the F*cking world starts on Netflix on 5/1/18. It was originally shown on Channel 4, but I missed it. Is it any good, supposed to be a black comedy
Nah, it's bang average. You have to be a real Simon Pegg fan to like it. Hold on I'm talking about a different thang. Not seen this but it looks pretty good.
Going back to Inside No 9. I spotted it was written in iambic pentameter straight away - the whole episode was. I mentioned this to the unit, and her eloquent reply was "What the ****'s that?"
I think it was entertaining. Neither great nor terrible. Looking at contemporary sitcoms from the same approximate time period, I can think of several that we're better: Frasier was better, Seinfeld was better, Coupling was better, worst week of my life was better. Ahhh... And Peep Show's first season was before Friends ended too. Peep Show was better. Friends could be entertaining but tended to lean more chick-flicky at times.
no way. Friends was pretty funny if i remember right. Always found seinfeld and Fraser really ****ing boring.
The first series of Friends was awful, especially the acting, but as it matured it did have some very funny moments. The episode when Ross had his teeth whitened was very funny, Firmino take note.
