Evans went to prison though, but different. If you're talking about after his release, that was a joke and the clubs that pulled out of the deal were pussies
Unlike the A Team, it appears he went to prison for a crime he may or may not have committed. But went to Chesterfield and now back at Sheffield United. Could with a little luck be helping them win promotion this season.
Irrelevant. He was found guilty and went to prison so was rightly sacked based on those facts. What hairnets after leaving prison was house **** though. He'd served his time so deserved a chance to get his life back together. The fact he proved his innocence later just proves that point further
I’m sure Flanno would be found guilty if it was taken to court, kicking your partner in the street. Evans case, didn’t have enough evidence to be sure he was guilty.
yes they did as that was the decision of the court plus to launch an appeal requires new evidence which was not available at the time of the original trial.
I don't want to speculate on this case but you could easily imagine a scenario where someone could be financially ruined by their partner losing their job after being prosecuted against their wishes. How do you decide when the state should intervene, e.g. mandatory divorces for couples if one person cheats?
