Do you want the City to go are far as they can in the Carling Cup or do you think it's just a pain? Should Malky use it to blood the youngsters or use it give the first team more time to gel? I'll be there tonight but how big will the crowd be? Answers on a postcard.
1. Get to the next round with a chance of meeting a big Prem club and earning some money. In recent years we have been to Liverpool, Villa and Spurs in the Carling and Stoke, Ar5ena1 and Chelski in the FA Cup so a trip to Man U or Man C would be nice. Jacks don't even bother commenting. I said a BIG Prem club. 2. Use some of the youngsters tonight but not as many as at Oxford as some senior squad members will need game time. Hopefully Kiss and the Gunnar. 3. 10/12k max. tonight.
I don't think there'll be a big crowd but neither do I think this is "truly very sad"...to quote AA...told him why too so just waiting for it to be deleted Anyway, as for the game itself, MM has said at least 2 of the youngsters will be involved and Darcy will get/needs more game time. I imagine we'll see a few '1st teamers' in there too but some will be rested. Huddersfield have scored in most games so far this season but they concede a few as well (they're my fun league team so I've been keeping an eye on them) so could go either way. Personally, I've just got a feeling that tonight will see the end of our Carling Cup adventure for this year. Obviously hope I'm wrong but at the same time I don't think it would be a bad thing either (if that makes sense) bfb, Kiss, Gunnar and Macca all due to start full training after Pompey so will be surprised if he throws any of those in tonight
Looking a bit thin in the middle then H. Whitts, Conway and Cowie will have to start plus Ibby or Ralls maybe - he did well when he came on at Oxford. Darcy could feature as a holding mf but more likely at left back to give Taylor a break (and avoid Nayls).
From what I've seen and read so far, Naylor has done what he's supposed to do but hasn't really been tested by anyone so he'll probably start, pushing Darcy into midfield. MM mentioned Ralls and Alex Evans will be involved but I'll be surprised if Ibby isn't in there somewhere too. Agreed we're a bit thin in the middle but thats the case in general at the moment.
Why the hell is the swansea game on radio wales??? Im in the south east ffs i dont want to listen to that ****e!!!!!
same here Nat...They've split the airwaves on FM I think....im on cc player 1-0 Gyepes so far EDIT: make that 2-0..Gyepes and Parkin
