I don't buy that the players aren't playing for each other and the cause. Who do you think that applies to? Our young full backs might make mistakes and there might be fitness issues but I just don't get this argument that they don't care enough. How is it going to help their careers to get relegated? The strolling Henriksen might be the exception - he certainly doesn't look as if he wants to get hurt for the cause.
I hope City Stay up for those still going to games. I hope City Stay up for everyone on here. However I won't be coming back as I have found a new love now and I am enjoying footy again . And it's far easier to get to games for me which has got a lot to do with it .
I'm sorry, but I didn't buy this fitness levels ****... Injuries yes.... fitness levels no!!!! who out of the regular starters could be unfit. Macgergor, ever present, Dawson, Aina, Tomori, Hector, hardly missed a game... Larsson, Groswicki, Irvine. It cant be Dicko, so who the hell does that leave.... Its a bollocks excuse!!!
Difficult one to call. I'm often very optimistic about where we'll end up, but really do not have a clue this time round, I'm not sure one way or the other.
I care and always will, what do I think well in truth if we carry on has we are which is been has good has anyone we are playing but coming off at the end and losing then we will go down, how ever depends if and who we bring in and how injuries go rest of the season. Two or three decent players at this level in the right positions would make a massive difference but without knowing if and who we are bringing in then its hard to predict.
The loans this year and last probably don't get their careers harmed much whatever. Some like Grosicki and Hendrikson may want to leave in January before any possible relegation.
I definitely buy into the lack of effort theory. There’s too many players who simply don’t give a ****. Or at least enough of a ****. It’s criminal to watch sometimes.
I don't think it's lack of effort, it's lack of will to put your body in the line of fire. Too many of them look scared or unwilling to stick a foot in and get hurt. I don't think they don't try they just don'e have the mindset. I said we would stay up I think we will score goals. I just think we don't have a squad to fight relegation. Sometimes in relegation battles its less about talent and more about the will to graft and work to get a point, jump in front of the ball to block it, throw yourself into tackles etc....
I read derby have no injuries to their squad. How many have we had and still have? Massive impact, for slut as well as nige. Mazuch getting injure was a huge blow after looking good. Any manager coming in would look at tightening up at the back after the amount we have conceded. Anyone who has witnessed games since nige took over can see the difference, if they can't they're thick or lying. I'm not interested in win ratios. I can see how different we are. The number of losses and draws under slut in the last ten minutes of games points to a lack of fitness, if you can't see that the there's no hope. Onwards and upwards.

Loan players cannot care as much as those who have some sort of affiliation to a club. I question just how committed our contracted players are given the ****e they have to put up from the owners regarding contracts. Then there are those who are not playing to potential for whatever reason. I do think Adkins will get the best out of the squad but the quality and/or commitment just isn't there.
If only there had been a defender on the club’s books who fitted that precise bill and would’ve been an absolute leader on the pitch to see us over the line in those tricky last 5 mins. We’d never let someone like that leave for free.
Define quality? Bowen, could go for five million maybe more. Stewart bought for 4 million. Henriksen 4 million. Irvine 2 million Toral 4 million. Dicko 2 million. One of the best goalies in the division. An ex England centre back And three Chelsea loanees. The above apart from Dawson and mcgregor have their contracts sorted, so blows that out of the water. On the bench we had Campbell who though free is a big signing as is larsson. Evandro 2 million. These aren't the same spend as a boro but this constant bollocks we haven't signed anyone is just that bollocks. Fitness poor. Work on defence. Terrible. Nige is addressing this.
