    Maybe fellas, maybe not. Hull are in freefall, I think they have won only one league game since mid-October. Reading have lost four of the last five. The other teams around them are scrapping though, Bolton, Birmingham and Burton have all won games lately, some of them unexpectedly. The mackems have the least wins of any team in the Chumpionship, four from 26 games. Its Cardiff next up in the league, and they will have a point (or three) to prove having lost four league games in a row themselves.

    Interestingly, the bookies have the mackems finishing fourth bottom...that's a massive sea change from the start of the season when they had them finishing eighth.

    Its going to be mega tight.

    Skybet have 4/7 that Mackems avoid the drop.

    Could be worth an insurance bet.

    £350 that they don’t drop returns £200 profit plus stake.

    Not bad insurance.

    If they do drop... I’d pay £350 to have 12 months of laughter ahead of me.
