Their engines were still racing in 1986, or be it in turbo form. Alfa Romeo ? - WINNER Go past all the throttle blipping at the start of the video and when its on track it is certainly a full blown V10 wail!
Ok . Which Driver suffered career ending injuries . He could not get rid of the need for speed , and Died in an offshore powerboat race ?
In all seriousness , I was racking my brains , but Big Ern is correct , I should only have posted 1 at a time . Sorry all , I won't do it again
ok, This driver landed a dream drive, but managed just 1 (almost) full season, doing 10 of the 12 races, his highest finish was 9th. His team-mate won the WDC winning 5 races and appeared on the podium in 3 more times
Just to prove what an Anorak I am , if you ever see the video of the Band Tight Fit singing fantasy Island , it's one of his boats that they are on , He had a dealership .
yep, 70's. It's quite an achievement though, not getting close to the points whilst your team-mate runs away with the title.
My first thought was 1981 with Nelson Piquet and Hector Rebaque, but then I saw what you had put on the number of races so discounted it.
