2 people isn't a lot really. When women are treated like objects and the women working in the stores aren't allowed to wear trousers you know you have a problem. Cortese was too much of a ego. Kat had no cash. Gao I have no idea about as he is secretive as ****
LOL Where did you hear the stuff about not being allowed to wear trousers? My sister used to work in the store at the stadium and she never mentioned that and I don't recall seeing her wearing skirts to work.
I like how you quote half a post. You have done it twice now. I have been told stuff for a while now.
You edited your post after I replied. Twice. Stop getting salty because you're backtracking. The models (good looking women) working as programme sellers is just good business - he didn't force them in to the job.
You're making up stories about him, to try and justify your dislike. It just sounds like he upset a snowflake friend of yours that worked under him tbh.
I didn't criticize the board for it (if it came across that way I didn't mean it to) I was criticizing VVD and his agent for not getting one put in in his new contract as then everyone knew where they stood should someone come in for him. I get your point but the jump from playing for Liverpool to Barca is far lower than from Saints to Liverpool in terms of club size, competitions you are in, wages and chances of winning stuff (still a big jump but nowhere near as big). Coutinho will still go either this window or next but being "stuck" at Liverpool for an extra season isn't the end of the world, being "stuck" at a club like Saints for another year could scupper any chance of getting a big move. It is all about getting to that big club in the first place.
Snowflake is a term for someone who is easily offended. You were offended by 'models' selling programs under him... and then you made up a story about women not being allowed to wear trousers. Surely if you know far more than one person you'd have actual reasons why he was so awful?
Snowflake is also a term alt right have used to put down people that don't agree with them. Who said I was 'offended' by models handing out programmes? Problem with Cortese is he wanted to oversee and be leader of everything. Hardly anyone could make a decision without him wanting to have his word in. Cortese was far too much of a do as I say guy and it messed up moral for the non playing staff. We had DTLW say some stuff on here as well. People going on about Cortese need to let it drop. He isn't coming back
The term snowflake precedes the alt right, it's used as a word against those that are easily offended. If you think I'm alt right because I used that word then you're incredibly misguided. You pointed out the models as a way of treating women badly, after your 'no trousers at work' point was proved wrong. Yeah he was the man at the club and got involved heavily in various departments for a while, but took a back seat after things were operating how he wanted them, he did delegate to those that were competent. Ultimately he rebuilt the club and did a ****ing good job at it. I never said he was coming back, I would take him back in a heartbeat though.
Where was it proven wrong? I see no evidence? Until there is evidence rather then just a random on a site saying I was wrong I will believe the person that is in my life.
Not a fan of release clauses, particularly in the current market. The bit in bold is the problem for clubs. Player prices are now going so crazy you can’t predict what your asking price will be in a year’s time, never mind in four, five or six years. Look at Neymar, his release clause was a typical Spanish release clause - set so high nobody would pay it... until PSG paid it! van Dijk signed his last contract with Saints 18 months ago and if we’d put in a release clause I’d say it would have been much lower than £75m.
Women in the stores were allowed to wear trousers. My sister worked at the stadium store. You then admitted that he was "Bringing it in", but it never happened.
Normally on here there are a lot of positive posters countering the negativity, but the fact very few people are backing us to stay up or turn things around speaks volumes. Particularly when reliable ITKs are also pretty downbeat about everything, too.
