I think we should email the club and insist the useless ****wit Pellegrino does the next match thread. He would obviously continue to edit his desired ****ing lineup in the OP until 1359 on Saturday...
Do we really need one? We can just copy and paste the posts from this thread , bound to be near identical anyway .
Over and over and over again. We take the lead and slip towards panic. MP does nothing at all even though it is obvious that the game has changed. We concede the inevitable goal and MP finally acts with the wrong subs. How many times have we said the same things this year? He is 10 games behind the rest of us clueless fans every time. At least his plan for starting shane long finally paid off, he may get two goals this season if he can increase his strike rate to slighly more than 1 in 36.
I've been saying this for a long time, but the squad is not up to scratch. Not even close. I've been called out for pointing it out in the past but I don't think there's anyone left in denial. Yes, Pellegrino is out of his depth but Puel was having the same problems last year, but he was always competent. The board have ****ed up for 2 consecutive summers and we're seeing the result of that now, helped along by the clown they appointed. Take tonight for example; Zaha, Benteke, Sako, Townsend vs Boufal, Long/Gabbiadini, Tadic, JWP/Redmond. We have a worse attack than Crystal Palace. The board are stingy and have lost all of their goodwill, shades of 2004/5. Also, fair play to Palace for realising their mistake and sacking FDB so quick. I remember when we had a proactive board.
This. He can’t read the most obvious signs that a game is changing and slipping away, let alone seek to mitigate the change
Huddersfield, Brighton, Newcastle, Burnley and Bournemouth. Which of those exactly, have a better squad man for man? And that's just the blatant ones imo, there's others where it's arguable too.
His game management is appalling, we have got a top ten squad but he is turning them into relegation fodder. Time to cut out the tumour and start to heal with a competent experienced manager
BBC have Roy Hodgson as MotM - says it all really. Can't recall a manager getting it before but my memory isn't what it was.
