What exactly happened at the end with fans on the pitch? I heard it briefly on solent but was rushing to work as running late.
He made the changes after we conceded the equaliser. Fans would have not been happy with a point so he went for it and we ended up conceding. Not as if we were 1 up and he just went mad and went for it.
Doesn’t make them look incompetent by giving confidence to the team by backing the manager in the city of an important game. Incompetent would be not sacking the guy with the next 48 hours.
Think we are down tbh. This is coming from a happy clapper. Board have left it too late and the team have no fight. Every team around us has far more fight then us
A - He should have seen we were losing the midfield battle before the equaliser, it was very definitely coming, we'd been penned back and created nothing B - Simply throwing on forwards does not sort anything if there is no link C - Hojbjerg and Romeu were working well together and should not have been touched
That's probably the biggest concern the lack of fight. Though I maintain even a semi competent manager would see this squad even without additions at least 15th.
I don't agree with you when you keep talking about a lack of fight. I see a lack of tactical nouse from a manager, the players are as 'up for it' as I can expect them to be.
I genuinely can not see anything other than relegation. We are clueless. I'm not even that bothered, I just turned off the TV and went oh well.
Virtually every team who have changed manager have had a 'bounce' - Palace case in point - got to get rid
Makes a change from just dropping them from the starting line up for next game, take them off during the game
Nah, keep the faith. If we keep the manager then yep, but if he goes and they have already lined up a replacement, then we will have a great chance of staying up. The big Q for me is if they have a replacement, utter bollocks and **** station if they haven’t.
