Seems a lot of the players genuinely didn't like him, for whatever reason. It's why I'm still not terribly upset that we made a change. The problem was replacing him with a defensive-minded coach from a tiny club, and then proclaiming that he was going to lead us to glory as an attacking outfit. Completely insane appointment at the time; doubly so seeing it in full effect.
You can only blame Reed and co for past decisions I’m afraid. As I said in previous posts Mr Reed is accountable for our problems and he should be asking himself some really big questions.

Utterly predictable. Well done Roy and Palace. Showed how to use tactics and substitutions to turn a game around. My fear is that our board are even slower to make subs than our manager. I can just see Les/Ross/Ralph all dawdling over our transfer activity this month because they don't want to 'overpay', lots of rumours fly about, Jeremy Wilson puts out an article saying we're working hard on XYZ. We sneak in a deadline day loan deal for Walcott and Simon Peach tweets something about that being all our business done for January.
Nah. They just have to get a half decent manager. Doesn't matter where from. The players we have are perfectly capable, and with a couple of additions and a motivated side, we'll be fine.
