Strange half to assess due to the weather. Totally the wrong game for a player who has just had a double hip operation. Lamela hasn't been at the races. And by the same token, other than his goal Llorente has been a peripheral figure - largely because the weather doesn't allow for long balls into his head.

Once again Trippier has produced the square root of zero. Davies and Jan have been excellent. Sanchez has looked uncomfortable. Very impressed with Alli, Eriksen and Son.

Honestly we've had better touches and passes today than when we were in our **** run of form. It might not be pretty but a decent looking performance in these conditions is actually a very good one.

Need to just start pinging in low shots second half, doesn't matter where it's from, get it skidding off the surface and sooner or later one will go in.

    Apologies to Sucky :

    The Spanners/WBA game may indeed
    be "season defining" .

Not at all! They've all been really busy, showing a desire to get on the ball and make things happen. These conditions really don't suit them at all but to my mind they're trying their hardest. As I said, Lamela, Trippier and Llorente are the weak links in this team. Wouldn't mind Winks coming on for Lamela tbh.

You're right for Sonny and Dele. Eriksen not so sure although he did win a 50-50 ball in MF which is a first! <diva>

Luxury conditions I often played in fog when you couldn't see from one end of the pitch to the other. We use to post a player to let the goalkeeper know when the ball was coming <laugh>

Also, we need to start pinging the ball at the opposition. There's nothing like the sting of getting a football slapping into your cold, wet thighs to demoralise you in these conditions. Failing that just throwing mud at them.

Don't know if I'm gonna see this one out. Just want to sleep to be honest.
Need more life and/or entertainment in this game.

We haven't got control of the conditions as opposed to Swansea that have understood that mistakes will happen.

  20. That would be a yellow card 9/10 times. Very lucky boy.
Defence on right looks very iffy.
