2-0 Slimani with a Vardyesque goal.

Quirky I’ll give them that. Not loving Burnley equalising, was looking like perfect results. Let’s hope Man Utd put Everton to the sword later

Great result and performance second half after a forgettable first.
Glad Burnley lost as well, 4 points behind them now

...he was but there were several great performances today ... Mahrez with a fabulous goal and yet another assist ...Ndidi and Maguire so assured ... and Amartey was excellent too ... and Slimani .. thought he had a great game ... not just his cool finish but his all round link up play and work rate <cheers>

Those two finishes get better the more you watch them, great goals! Also having seen the Okazaki disallowed one again, it looks really soft, I can’t see any contact on the defender so unfortunate not to have that counted

The unsung hero again was Albrighton. Would be a complete travesty if he never plays for England after some of the dross that have played.

First half was a snore fest and it took abit of Mahrez magic to open the game for us. From there it was 1 way traffic

Mahrez was cutting them apart. Albrighton putting in some great crosses and Shinji being Shinji

But special mention has to go to someone who ive been very critical of it the past. Islam Slimani. For me that was he best game for us by far. He hassled, chased, tracked back, tried to make things happen and what a finish for his goal

Slimani hasnt really been giving a proper chance as the main striker due to Vardy. I thought Puel should have gave Iheanacho his chance today but Puel got it right and Slimani didnt half take his chance

The difference is that when we bring Slimani on, we expect to him either be Vardy or support him, neither of which are his game.

When we start him without Vardy, we play to his strengths which reminds you that he is actually a very good striker

But he doesnt help himself when he comes on as all he seems to do is run around fouling people
