Isn't there a reason for clubs keeping their stated net profits before tax to a minimum?

Anyway, apart from the profits, just think about the ecstasy of whinging on here when we're getting hammered every week. <laugh>

That's partly why I'm enjoying the Championship this year, we might not get what we want all the time, but it's never dull. <cheers>

Actually it’s better than I’d expected, on profits and debts.

I note the top 5 spenders on wages averaged over £200m per club. The other 15 clubs averaged ‘only’ £70m.

Club that I note seems to over-perform it’s wage bill is Spurs (£100m)

Range of wage bills is from Watford at £58m to the SCUM at £232m

It's probably one of reasons the top clubs put a priority on Euro comps Eire, to make ends meet.

If we did stay away from it, it'd be just like going around in circles every season, nothing to play for.

Cup comps would be second 11 comps and the league wouldn't really matter, the club would eventually suffer financially, and fan wise,
and no one of value would want to play for us......:emoticon-0148-yes:
