http://www.90min.com/posts/5817008-...=Facebook&utm_medium=FBADS&utm_campaign=EN811 I've never really been tempted to eat a pie at a football match, and knowing that we are one of the most expensive in UK makes me even less tempted. And to think that, when I started work in Watford, my daily lunch of a pie and a pint in The Coachmaker's Arms cost 2/3d...
The pies at the Vic are well overpriced and far too small. I remember them being much better value in the late 1950's, my father often used to treat me to a steak and kidney at the greyhound meetings.
I have had a pie at the Vic this season. Acceptable, if overpriced. BHA pies were exceptional, I had the steak and ale (Harvey's, no doubt) and a nibble at my mate's butternut squash and broccoli pie.
Hmm... How does Gray look in pink? http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/fo...s-Little-Mix-girlfriend.html#comments-5190397
Roy Hodgson on MOTD yesterday bemoaning the fact Palace have ‘missed out’ on four points recently due to missed late pens and should be further away from the relegation zone. What he fails to mention is the three points we gifted them so he’s actually only one point down on where he thinks they ‘should’ be.
Could be anything from a 2-0 win for us all the way through to a middle order England batting score to them... has anyone absolutely ruled out the possibility of double figures, however unlikely, given our defensive frailties?
That was my grandsons 1st game and as we was walking away he said to my son "when can we go again dad" In the 1st half they did not miss place a pass or give the ball away
Udinese have won 5 in a row and are likely to make it 6 tonight! Bet they were under pressure before they started this run with a 1-3 away win at Inter.... just saying, our run could start tonight? )) They have a few missing.
If you have the latest WFC calendar (Troy is first up) don't rely on writing too much in each date - the boxes are tiny!!!!!!
We played quite well. They had a little extra help from the officials that was as unnecessary as it was unfair... City were imperious that day, quite something to watch.
Craig Cathcart made his return to action as Watford beat Queens Park Rangers 2-1 in a training ground friendly this afternoon. The Northern Ireland international, who has been sidelined since August due to a knee injury and surgery, played for 75 minutes, while in another injury boost for the Hornets Isaac Success also got 90 minutes under his belt. Goals from Troy Deeney and Sebastian Prodl secured the win, but Cathcart was understandably pleased to get some minutes under his belt. “It's nice to be back in a game situation, I've been back in full training for a week now,” he told the club website. “It was good to get back on the pitch - obviously training is a bit different, there's different distances you have to run so it was good to get back into the swing of things and get 75 minutes under my belt.” Watford Observer
