    • just a point on the ref today. He penalized Burnley only four times today, don't often see a home team getting beat and only committing four fouls.
    • Just saying like.

The whole thing is confusing, Coutinho himself has agreed to wait till summer.

It's just Barca being Barca - using any and all tools at their disposal to unsettle and tap up.

Its a definite problem this year, refs are too eager to side with the Home team. West Brom should never had a pen yesterday, but because the home fans screamed for it the ref gave it.
Too concerned with upsetting the home fans.

i am a bit more concerned about it being an LFC thing rather than a home thing, I would be surprised if 4 isn't the lowest total for Burnley at home. Think some of our players need to get a bit better in the dark arts esp in games like today.

Man of the match - Dejan Lovren (Liverpool)

Dejan Lovren responded well to the arrival of Virgil van Dijk, having a match-best 84 touches

Thats a very damming statement about Lovren. Only willing to show some ability when his position is under threat. Smacks of complacency and thinking he's already made it

Another difficult game but then it was always going to be. First half was awful. Great to see Mane scoring I've been worried about him. As for the Klavan-Lovren double act... :emoticon-0140-rofl:

So who do we want to win the Chel / Arse game.
I'm preferring a Chelsea win. We would still only be 4 pts behind them but Arse would be 6 behind us.
Much nicer to open a gap with the Champions league wannabes. That way we don't have to keep looking over our shoulders and worrying.
Although Spurs are more likely than Arsenal to catch us up. So come on Moyes get a fing win against a top 6 team.

Mane is just furious with his own form by the sounds of things:

Jurgen Klopp on Sadio Mane: "He came into the dressing room and the whole team got up and gave him a hand, because they know. He will be back on top. He has made steps. We need him, we need him so much for all the things that are coming. I am happy because I had a lot of players with moments where it wasn't clicking and they never scored. Sadio still scores, and that's really cool!"

I can understand Mane's problem, last season is the main man, this season he's in the shadow of Salah. He is probably disappointed
    in himself.

Mane is quality so will come good. As long as he doesn't strop, it's fine.

Another big plus from today is Lallana's full return.

Our form is good, especially if you're consider that we dominated the Everton and Arsenal games....key now is to keep the squad fresh and keep that form up. If we do, it's top four. Have to say though that we will not succeed in CL without keeping clean sheets.....

That’s a big win!! Great result especially when it seemed that we had ****ed it up as per usual.

The last two games have told us more about our mentality than the easy wins prior to this.

I’m so glad that we beat those ****ers - such an ugly team and ugly city and I hope they get relegated. In all seriousness, Dyche has done a really good job on a budget. It’s not pretty but he’s making them competitive.
