Shocking really to have them take six points from us, shows how much work is to be done, still think we are on course but the window is vital, the plus side is we have not got to be world beaters to get out of this fix.
Not for the first time we were beaten by a team that was physically stronger than us and that was about the only difference. We need to get some big ****ers in and spread them about the pitch.
I think McNair is ok. He wasn’t today but he has a player in there. Just think he needs better support in there. Honeyman was poor. Gibson with McNair would be a better partnership. Love has one thing to his game... his throw ins! Looks such a poor player. Got into some good positions first half but his crossing is so poor Agree with what you say.

McNair just coming back from injury again. Got to keep him fit. We need an absolutely superb transfer window or were doomed. To lose at home to 3 teams close around you is a nightmare.
I just have a feeling with McNair that we're going to spend years saying he's going to be good any day now and it's never truly going to happen, like with Rodwell. I know he's rusty but he looks very slow and weak and is a specialist in the old backwards and sideways passes. Looks average to me. He doesn't put himself about enough and he doesn't get his head up to pick out a pass. Early days I suppose but I'm not optimistic. Mind you I thought Gibson was crap and I've had a total turnaround of opinion on him.
