A very good win and in great style.

We suddenly have some young and fast strikers!

Let’s hope that we build a competitive and entertaining team for next season!

Just in. Missed the second half. Great win. Can’t wait to see the highlights. Lovely to see Smyth’s beaming face at the end.Maybe a bit early but hats off to the scout responsible for his signing.

Fantastic! Smyth really deserved to get the winner, I think we have a new Clive Allen on our hands. As I asked earlier; why has Ollie waited until now to give him a game?

Ollie seems to distrust youth. The positive though is the scouting system that spotted him.

Paul Smyth

The new Micheal Owen ?

Blimey, I hope that's tongue in cheek!

He put in a decent performance and scored a goal... let's not heap too much pressure on the poor kid's shoulders.

Knowing Rs fans he'll be being booed next week if he has a quiet game... he's 20... he's had a memorable debut, let's just all enjoy it for what it is.

A Smith, Smyth & Smithies day.....

Re: "Cardiff remain fourth despite now having lost four successive Championship games - the worst run for manager Neil Warnock for nine years."

Was wondering if "Championship" was the operative word in that statement?

Thought he lost that number with us in the PL, but no, only 3, and ditto for Mark Hughes that season, who could be getting his marching orders soon? Although his run of 5 home victories on the trot saved our bacon that season (Liverpool - the defining 3-2 moment, Arsenal, Swansea, Spurs and Stoke) - 15 pts much needed points.

"Despite leading the club to the Premier League for the first time in 15 years, he was sacked on 8 January 2012 after the 1–2 home defeat to Norwich City on 2 January 2012. The owner of QPR, Tony Fernandes, said that the club slipped down to a dangerous league position (17th) after a recent poor form"
