I wonder how long players spend at the hairdressers and is it written into their contracts?

I think the first 'hair dude" in my time was Albert Quixall, who sported a Tony Curtis and short shorts at Sheff Wed and Man U.

Liverpool seem to have hit a bit of form.

Need to win both games in hand to keep the pressure up or else 4th could be looking a long way off.

Game at a time, every one a must win.
That is the mindset that has got Spurs to where they
are in the PL in recent times. Any slip by our rivals
has to be pounced on immediately.

Well in the second half, it's fair to say United have battered Everton. Two great strikes for the goals.

United found a way through Allardyce's Maginot Line!

Pogba looks so much better further forward.
Lukaku injury appears to be a blessing in disguise.

RDBD - the main difference in rugby/rugby league is that they often stop the game clock so TMO's don't impact on actual playing time they just restart the clock. Whereas in football the clock is always running and any stoppage is at the mercy of the ref and assistants, so you don't actually know how much time they will add on for the VAR.

Add to that there's no stoppage time in rugby (unless England are playing, then the match never starts...)

I'm taking my Godson to the Everton game in a couple of weeks. He'll be 6 years old, the same age I was 49 years ago, when my dad took me to my first game.

Another generation joins. It's a great thing. His dad's a Mouser but we've got him now......I hope we rip 'em to shreds, Maginot Line or no.

My dad took me to a game in the 40's at The Lane. Don't remember the game ,I was so young! I told him I needed to go to the lavs....and he let me go and we were in the Park Lane end in all that crowd.Needless to say....I couldn't get back and as I couldn't swear then,I made my way home to Lordship Lane. Mum was pleased!!!!!
I can just hear the old man..."sod him,we're winning!" or words to that effect.

My dad started going in the late 40's - about '48, when he was 9. A little bit late but he was a very sickly child, probably due to the war diet. Later he more than got over it, he was awarded a Rugby Blue at university [playing lock] and played for London Wasps.

2 of my brothers and I, took my youngest brother to his first game when he was only 4. That game will be 37 years ago, next week. It was a home win against Birmingham City. Lots of ghosts.

Don't think Spanners vs WBA is "season defining" .
Though given the performances this decade of the club
you support in the PL, I can see why you would think so.
