After a surprise 0-0 at Wigan, a resurgent Charlton look to revive their promotion challenge today. Anyone going? I'm opting for Paddington 2 at the local cinema.

1-0 down already. Time for Big Josh to justify Robinson's faith in him.

Looks another poor attendance from photos on Twitter. Around the 10,000 mark I’d say.

Pikeys usually bring a good following.

5 points behind 6th, 9 behind 5th. Looks like the Checkatrade is the only hope for SR's dream of a day out at Wembley to come true.

If the Pikeys do the double over us Robinson’s position is untenable. What sort of a run is this ?

He hasn't helped by bringing back Reeves into the team. Cue for Reeves to score.

The problem is Robinson’s obsession with a formation that palpably doesn’t work.

Magennis can't play the lone striker, I'm sure Robinson only plays him there because he's big.

Seems like a one-sided game. They've had 8 shots, 3 on target. We've had one off-target. Could be a cricket score.

We're 17 points off 2nd place, but only 10 points off the relegation spot.

    Terrible.

First 20 minutes not much in it, except Gills can defend and they wanted it more. Next 25 minutes we fell apart and they gained confidence. The crowd have turned on Naby Sarr and fans around me are berating Marshall as well.
6,000 fed up home fans booed the team off.

    0-2 half time.

This just shows how far we have fallen beaten twice by the Gills. But don't worry a loan signing is joining in the next 24 hours. What a load of ****. That is all.

awful first half. would say we were the better team in the second half but that's only because we had to chase it. the 451 has been sussed. we are effectively meired (useless) when we play in that shape. we looked better for the 8 mins best was on as we went back to 442.

i think the players need to step up and tell KR they would prefer to play in a 442. doing the same thing again and again and expecting different results is the definition of madness.

KR grew on me for a bit. but he doesnt have that tactical bit about him that would make the most of situations he finds himself in. curbs used to grind out 0-0's when we had a spate of injuries or hadnt won in a while. he'd go two banks of 4 and defend and attack on the break. KR doesnt have this astuteness, he thinks by tippy tappy passing and two high wingers will eventually come good. seen on twitter people think he needs help, someone who can go to him and tell him "10 without a win is bad and you need to grab a few clean sheets to give yourself a chance".

the whole feeling about the place now is that everyone is waiting for the takeover to go ahead before we can move on. we'll slip down the table until it's done.
