My god, that was a horrible half of football.

And unsurprisingly, it stems from our midfield. No creativity, lethargic passing, slow transitional play.

 

Structurally we are not balanced as Gomez is not an outlet on the on the Left. For all of Solanke's fans at this moment is not better than Origi.

Mane and Ox are the other disappointments as for all their pace they are not running at and past the Burnley players. I'd bring Robertson in for AA and Firminho for Solanke at about 60 mins.

 

And it’s still early in his career but Solanke isn’t good enough yet. Origi was inconsistent but he’s clearly better.

 

Would Firmino make a difference?
