So, MotD shows once again why we need a video referee - ManUre denied a penalty, yet Baggies awarded one when the player who was penalised was a LOT closer to the ball. <steam>
Who knows - PERHAPS 2018 will be the year we actually see them introduced.
PS - THAT tackle on December Bruyne SHOULD have been punished and I fully expect it will be when it is reviewed.

Which means Everton defenders perform better under big Sam than Stoke defenders do under Sparkie

Not exactly a goal fest in any of the leagues today.
Edit - Preston take the lead against Boro!!
PS - Howson scores for Boro and they're now winning 3-2.

So Mark Hughes gamble of putting out a weakened team against Citeh has backfired.
First manager/Head Coach for the sack this year?????

I'd be amazed if he will still be there for the next game. The fans walked out of the Chelsea game after 23 minutes, and were doing the same again today. Banners out everywhere. Even the patient board cant let this continue for much longer. Hughes needs a big unbeaten run, and they are away at United next. Who need to win also.

What was Chris Coleman thinking when he took on the Manager's role at Sunderland? He was really on a hiding to nothing IMO, they really are a car crash of a club right now. How on earth can a club of their stature be bottom of the Chumpionship staring relegation in the face?

    • Seasons spent at Level 1 of the football league system: 86
    • Seasons spent at Level 2 of the football league system: 30
    • Seasons spent at Level 3 of the football league system: 1

Interesting to note they have spent only one season outside of the top two divisions in their entire history which was 1987-88.

Poor old Dave must be beside himself <laugh>

I was very impressed by how they closed Citeh down and prevented them from playing their normal game.
